First day of Winter

Something weird happened just after fall,

'Cause yesterday it felt like no one knew me at all,

I thought the loneliness in me would never subdue,

But the black and white shades faded when I saw you.

I'm not really sure about trusting my rapidly beating heart,

The love in me was never really at start,

Should I trust my mind and start being true?

Stay alone and not mind what happened when I saw you.

But you caused the change when I looked into your eyes,

I suddenly felt the fluttering butterflies,

Because just when my heart was about to wither,

You gave it a beat on the first day of winter.
