Capiz State University-Pontevedra showcased food innovation and production to Kasetsart University Institute of Food Research and Product Development -Thailand during the latter's campus visit after the sealing partnership, on February 21.
The
Research and Production Team presented the campus Fish Pond Project, Rice
Production Project, and Livestock Farm which cover the largest
income-generating project in the university.
Dr.
Phisamai Srichayet, KU Director; Dr. Pramuan Saithong, Deputy Director for
Research; and Mrs. Wanida Terawuth, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs;
together with CapSU Key Officials, visited the Sugar Regulatory
Administration-Soils Laboratory, Engineering Building, and the Fish Pond
outside the campus at San Pedro, Pontevedra, Capiz.
This
campus visitation was part of KU-Thailand's itinerary in assessing where they
could help CapSU in terms of food and product development and processing.
Kasetsart
University signed a Memorandum of Understanding at CapSU Roxas City Campus, Central
Administration Board Room.
The
said partnership is anchored on CapSU's goal of strengthening the
internationalization agenda system for more tangible and sustainable program
activities.
