National Women and Arts Month Celebrations
COEAS presents pampering activity, aBIDAlidad
The
College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (COEAS) hosted this year’s National
Women’s Month and post-celebration of the National Arts Month at Capiz State
University – Pontevedra Campus, on March 3.
CapSU
Association of Physical Education Students (CAPEdS) together with the Office of
the Socio-Cultural Affairs and COEAS Gender and Development Office conducted two
different activities namely: pampering day and a variety show called aBIDAlidad.
In
the morning, the pampering day was held at the COEAS Research and Extension
Office where students and faculty members were given pampering sessions such as
manicures, pedicures, massage, hair braid, eyebrow enhancement, and face paint
signifying for women to take good care of their beauty, to prioritize
themselves, and to be confident of who they are.
Through
a variety show, “aBIDAlidad: Pagdayaw sa
Kinaadman,” the students from Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) led the
performances and executed their creativity and appreciation of the different
perspectives of art through singing and dancing during the afternoon session.
